I agree we all have our good days and bad days. And we get some setbacks here and there. But as we go we have more and more knowledge and coping skills to deal with this. So i truely beleive you can get out of this. Just hang in there and things will be better again :)

I just wanted to add to this too. I would not get too down about it, we all have good days and bad days and as Claire Weeks says...its good to get the old skeleton out of the cupboard from time to time and take a good look at her. She scares us less and less. :)

hi ripper!! I just felt like you today; after 3 days without anxious thoughts and symptoms free, today I felt a little fear for a few seconds, that makes me feel sad, because I thought that I was won; but, I know that some day, when I less expect it, my anxious thoughts and fear will go away (at least for months or years). don't worry, there are many people like us, everything will be OK

Yes i thought i had won many times, but I think its a constant battle. I had 4 people I knew die last month, my anxiety started in again. Lately I have fear of being ill, heart attacks and such. I get tired of being this way but everyday is a new day, i just enjoy the good days. A good day is whn I am not nervous, tensed up with neck and shoulder tightness and idiotic fearful thoughts.

Ripper, I am sure you were doing a splendid job before, and therefore you must still have the coping skills to fight the anxiety again. I am so sorry you are having a harder time again, but just remember what you have learned from your past bouts of anxiety and try and apply it this time around as well. Try your best not to feed the panic, and remember to keep breathing. We are all here for you to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about dealing with your anxiety. Also, please know that everything will be okay. This is within your control and you will persevere! :)

Ripper, We are all bound to have our ups and downs. Time to get back to basics and rework the program tools. Start engaging and tearing down those anxious thoughts. Don't focus on the symptoms, focus on bringing that anxiety level down. You can do this! Danielle _______________________ The PC Support Team

I havn't post in quite sometime. I thought I had won, I thought I had it all under control. But I dont think I do. The thoughts are slowly returning on a daily, almost hourly basis. Not as extremem as they once were, but they are still there. I know this Anxiety I am going to have to deal with for the rest of my life, I know I will probably have to fight with it, I know this. And I thought I was doing a good job. Anyone else feel this way? What have you done?
