Pains in arms

Jennifer, Keep working through the program. Take some time for yourself today. If you're still feeling anxious, write down a list of all you're anxious thoughts. Take that list of anxious thoughts and beside each one write another statement that challenges your anxious one. If your symptoms worsen, please see your doctor. Hope this helps, Danielle ________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hi Jennifer, I also get this, I have had blood tests, ecg's etc also. My tests also always come back fine & the next time I feel the symptoms I think they may have missed something. I think it is what we focus on at the time. I have a high fever today, the flu has been going around, my husband has had it (it was not pretty!) and one of my children has had it - but to me I am so scared of dying right now. I cannot focus on anything else & I am seeing my doctor again this afternoon (second time in 4 days). My left arm has been numb all morning - with chest pains. I was fine yesterday... but add something to the mix that can send the anxiety through the roof & now I have it in my head that there is something seriously (and imminently) wrong with me. It has to be anxiety. :)

Hi guys, So lately I seem to be fixated on my heart and worrying about having a heart attack. Realistically I have had a ecg, my blood pressure is good and I am only 27 years old. It seems like my physical symptoms actually shift to whatever problem I am currently fixating on. Right now because it is my heart, I have upper back pain, chest pain and even pain in my left arm which really freaks me out. The thing is I have had this pain on and off for two years so if something was going to happen it would have happened or shown up on tests right? Does anyone one else ever get symptoms like this, and do you think the symptoms actually change or that we just become so focused on looking for the one that apply? Thanks for the feedback!
