Tammy, I have had this happen to me on occasions, mabey a few times a year. Like you, it just makes me feel worst! Usually if I lay down and do some deep breathing for a while, it helps tremendously. Good Luck to you, hope this helps you feel a little better!

Hi Tammy, Thanks for sharing this experience here with us. Panic and anxiety can show differently in different people. You had mentioned in your post that you had been doing fairly well with controlling your attacks, please don't be discouraged by this unexpected one today. Unfortunately sometimes they can occur this way. Take care and keep us posted as to how you are doing, Casey ________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

no I havn't been told I look pale, however, I just freeze, go quiet, try and get away from anything that would make me talk, distract me from my anxiety attack because I always think it'll make it worse. Its almost better off to leave me be.

Today I wass eating lunch with 2 very good friends of mine. I have been doing fairly well controlling the attacks but I had a completely unexpected one today. My friends both said "you look white as a ghost". I have always felt "pale" during as attack but I didn't realize that I was pale. Of course that made things worse when they told me that. Has anyone else been tody they look that way?
