Panic traveller

18 years ago 0 4 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have a lot of anxiety when travelling by automobile or plane. (I take cruises :) ). I don't know if I can help with the fear of sickness or hijacking, but as far as an accident, it helps me to ride on public transportation because I know that those drivers are professionals. They do this EVERY DAY, ALL DAY LONG. I would much rather be with them than one my friends driving. I HATE and try to aviod riding with others, but buses are better because of this reason. I don't know if that helps.

Hi, everybody. I've been away for a few days. I'm set to travel by bus for about three hours or more, and, I am quietly freaking out. I am quite nervous about the bus ride, and, I'm scared that something terrible will happen to me...sickness, accident, hijacking, etc. I've had some travel scheduling issues, and, now, I'm worried that it was a sign that I should not travel. Has anyone gone through this? The fear of travel? I'm supposed to be on 'vacation, ' but, I'm not so sure that there is such a thing when you have depression, panic, or anxiety. I want a mental vacation :)
