My nurse-practioners nurse Pam just phoned, she reccomended me NOT to continue, she said seizures rarely happen, but the severe headache and tingling was not good, not normal side-effects and it could be allergic reaction, the first night I took it I had shortness of breath for a few hours, but I tried to ignore it and work through, she said since its so strong 2 days could be enough, she said sometimes even 1 day is enough on 500 miligrams, I am only on 250, she said the practioner would call me back and let me know if she wants to call something else in, I really do NOT want the UTI to return, but these side-effects are scary, she said drink lots of water and cranberry and perhaps the 2 days would be enough, I asked for Amoxicillian which I tolerate well but its not prescribed for UTI's, I am confused the pharmisist said keep taking it, the nurse said NO! I just hope she is correct and 2 days may be enough. I will let you know if the practioner calls back she leaves on vacation tomm for 2 weeks so I hope so. Gosh why can't anything ever be easy, my sister says I have the worst luck. God bless, Debbie.
