Major Panic

I'm very happy for you too! Amen that you're not going to worry anymore! Just in case this might help too, I'll share one little thing that really helps me lately during panic attacks: it's to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth -- just thought I'd share because I didn't know or believe it would make such a difference until I tried it during a bad panic attack and I found that breathing in through my nose makes me breathe slower, therefore I'm not as likely to keep hyperventalating, and then I feel like "see, it's going to be okay, I'm not losing control"! I'm glad it's nothing serious! That is fabulous!! Try to keep reminding yourself they are not dangerous on those days you're having a hard time with it. I'm very happy for you that it was nothing serious!! :)

Hi guys just updating you about my heart dramas it turns out it is PVCs which means i have more beats than normal but its not dangerous unless its happening all the time and mine are irregular so ive decided im NOT gonna spend any more time worrying about my heart(at least im going to try not to) ;)

I'm sorry they found something irregular in your heart. I know that is terrifying! I wanted to let you know that there have been amazing advances in the medical world regarding the heart. You may have some changes in your lifestyle like taking meds, diet regulations, exercise changes, but you will be ok! My mother was put on a heart transplant list two years ago because the bottom of her heart had actually died. The doctors gave her a new medication to keep her alive while she was on the list. This medication completely healed her heart and she didn't need any kind of surgery or a transplant. How amazing is that?! Try not to worry. Trust the doctors and know there is hope. I know you're terrified, but try to live your life as best you can. Try to be strong and not give in. You did it before and that proves you are strong. You can do it again!

Hi everyone i had gone for ages without having major panic i have had minor panics but ive been able to positive self talk and ive been ok then 2 days ago i had a cup of tea and a chocolate bar for afternoon tea and my heart went erratic it felt like it skipped a beat then did a few quick ones to catch up and i thought something was seriously wrong because i had a bad pain around my heart so i went to ring emergency and thought what if this is panic and i managed to calm myself down somewhat but now i feel as if im back to square one.I have to see cardiologist on monday for ultrasound on my heart cause they picked up irregularity when i had 24hr trace now im petrified this is going to keep happening so i cant leave the house again im trying to positive self talk all the time ive even started a self esteem course on the net to try and help but i am scared.I feel so weak right now. Thanks for letting me vent. Lou..
