Thanks John! I asked a friend what I should do to celebrate, and his big suggestion was, "Well, don't have a smoke today, that's pretty celebratory." True, but I want something a little more fun haha. I'll think on it.

Happy June everyone. The June '18 quitter is nearing full circle on her first year! I'm so excited to be in June, this is the most excited I've been about my quit since whenever the last time I posted about being excited was in this thread hahaha. I gotta think of something good to celebrate with on the day. FREEDOM IS POSSIBLE, DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!

Thanks guys! I was off work yesterday for the holiday so didn't get on here to celebrate my 11 months. Every single day now is a countdown to the one year mark. Sparrow kind of blew my mind when she said that in a short time I'll be in my second year of not smoking.... I guess I hadn't thought of that before. I have been so focused on the one year mark that it escaped my attention that this quit will actually be going beyond that. That one day I'll be measuring my quit in years. Plural. Like Timbo here. I can't thank you guys enough for following along this past year and for cheering me on. I'm so grateful to have done this for myself at last.

Woohoo! Yes it must be so exciting to be coming into June again. Soon youll be in yr second year as a non smoker. Thats fantastic and it must be a wondeful feeling to never miss it anymore. Youre giving yourself a gift that you couldnt have previously......a brand new smile not to mention the countless health benefits.
