It is definitely great to hear about another person breaking free from the nicodemon. Continue to relish in the benefits of quitting!

Hey Workin'!

I love hearing this news!  Another smoke-free household!  Maybe you should give him a reward for making it to the Beach?

It's about time to get out of here and head home for my Friday evening reward!

Have a great smoke-free weekend, everyone!

             CLINK!!!

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

My roommate has been smoke free for about 3 months, according to him. Apparently, the transition was a lot less traumatic for him. He said he was grumpy for the first few days (I didn't notice), but that was about it.

When I asked him what motivated him to quit smoking, he said, "I was tired of running my life around cigarettes." Basically, he was tired of having to worry about buying them, timing his next smoke break, etc.  No big inspiration, medical scare or anything. He was just tired of being addicted, so he quit. Amazing.

Interestingly, that freedom from the nagging of addiction has also been one of my most unexpected, yet cherished, benefits of quitting.

Have a happy weekend, everyone!
