Oh I think so!!!! I know I worry the most about my heart and chest and those are the areas that I am most in tune with when it comes to aches and pains and I swear i make it worse!

I've had anxiety / panic for 12 years now and I know without a doubt in my mind that we make the symptoms we fear the most worse. The mind is a very powerful thing!

I keep having more and more neuro symptoms, or the neuro symptoms I have (wierd stuff going on in the extremities) seem to be getting more obvious. Is it possible I am making myself sick with these symptoms because I am obsessed with MS and the possibility of it? I guess what I am asking is, can your anxiety pop out in symptoms that you fear the most? I don't have the heart attack obsession that most anxiety/panic people suffer. My big fear de jour is neuro diseases, so it seems that most of my anxiety hits me in the extremities. Espcially, lately its been a stiff, weird weakness in my right arm and leg. It comes and goes. Sometimes it stays for hours, sometimes for under an hour. Its like a tickling, stiffness. Very hard to describe. Anyhow, any opinions? I am currently seeing a neuro. AP
