I know exactly how you feel, being around people affects me so much that i never finished high school or went to college, an I emotionally beat myself up all the time for this, but it is so hard to live with this problem. I hate to recomend pills cause that's just another dependency and with side effects, they say some pills aren't goood for your liver. Maybe you could wear a baseball cap, sometimes that helps me, sometimes wearing sunglasses helps me too so I won't have eye contact with anyone, but then if you are in class, well sunglasses won't help, I don't know, maybe you could do the 12 step program on here an see if that helps.

My worst anxiety attacks happen around people, especially if I'm made the centre of attention. Sometimes I go to great lengths just to avoid people. This makes it really hard for me at university where there is approx. 300 people per lecture. For the last two and a half years I have felt so run down, I feel so depressed and have headaches constantly. I cannot possibly express in words how I am feeling, just that it's ****. Can anyone share some techniques on how they unwind. I'm just finding it soooooo hard to relax.
