A few years back I had the same exact problem. I read that anxiiety can cause eye disturbances. I hope you feel better.

I did go to an eye doctor with all of this, he did a thorough eye exam, told me to cut the caffeine and chocolate out as much as possible. These things happen to me whether I have caffeine or not. I guess maybe the caffeine makes them a tad worse, but I still get this even on caffeine-free days. You'd think if the rippling vision was cause for concern he would have suggested seeing someone else or something? *shrug* I have yet to hear someone say they get the jerking thing. Like, you're looking at something, usually some sort of pattern, and it just "jumps" really quick on ya? Its so hard to explain... ap

I get visual disturbances a lot. I see spots, floaters, stars, and sometimes just general blurriness. I also have this other weird eye thing where whatever I am looking at will "jump" or jerk, or ripple... It usually happens with patterns, like something with vertical lines or horizontal lines. My husbands eye will do this, and it took me months to realize its not his eye twitching, but my eyes deceiving me. My daughters hair which is blonde and highlighted will do this too. Just sort of wiggle or ripple in front of my eyes, and its not the hair moving, but my eyes playing a trick on me. Does anyone else get this? I went for an eye exam, my vision is fine, so I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Thanks for reading. Sorry for all the posts. I'm just nuts over all of this today. AP
