Cool! I'll join you there. For a long time, I was the only member posting. Discussing matters with yourself, gets boring after a while.

Hey Sparky, you and I must be on the same wave length....

I too, am ready to start Part II of living a Healthy Lifestyle.

I am using the sister site of SSC which is the Healthy Weight Center, it has a good program and I am counting calories, logging my food intake and starting my exercise program just slowly at 30 min a day.

Good luck with your plan and getting to spend more time with Dewey.

Tiana, no worry.  I suppose you could call me the Queen of quits.  Not funny, but true.  Anyway this one is going very well, thank God.

Sorry, my mistake, Sparky!! I don't see your Quit Meter and thought you said your quit didn't last. Guess you meant the one before now! Glad to know you well into your quit and feeling confident enough to move onto other areas!! That is great and another important step for your new heathier lifestyle!

Tiana, what about my quit meter, it is correct.  I quit Sept 30th, gave myself some time and now working on other areas of my life.

I just reread my post .  As you can see by my stats that quit didn't last, but I had "good" intentions.  Since then, I have smoked, Dewey has made it though chemo, radiation and great weight loss.  At the end of Aug. he had another seizure and was in the hospital.  While he was there I would leave and go out to smoke.  I got caught twice by the security guard and he reminded me it was a smoke free facility.  He was right and I was wrong.  After coming home I thought about that a lot.  So I made the decision to quit so I can be available  for him.  That done, we are now going to they gym on regular basis.  I am getting myself geared up to monitor the food intake.  I know it can be, because I have done it before.  This time its now so much the weight; it is getting a healthy body.
