Hey Pete!

Hang in there, buddy!   Sometimes you just need to shut up and count to 10 before responding to morons!    It will get better!  Like our friends below said...  deep breaths!

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Hey peteg Sounds like the classic bad day syndrome. Don't let yourself get too tired or too ( sick ) and tired with the cold. If you're anything like me when I was smoking I'd be smoking and coughing my lungs out at the same time. Isn't it nice not to have to suffer like that today. I also always looked at work as seperate from my real life. Come home and shut the door and be done with it. Shut it hard if need be. Anger's sent me back smoking more than once. You can start a new day any time as required. Take five minutes out and start a new one. Take care of yourself. breather

Here grab both my hands!!!  Now you can't hit anyone   It is just a day, you don't have to harm yourself or anyone else.  Breaths, ice water, a walk.  Look in the mirror and remind yourself that you are a winner!!!  We are doing this, so kick some ash.  Your trainer is only doing for you what you asked him to do, remember .  Do something for your cold, some tea and a warm blanket.  Take care of yourself and your quit.

Take a few deep breaths peteg!

Hurting people won't make this any easier!

Remember to take time for breaks for yourself as in the past you probably used cigarettes to help you relax.  Members, how did you manage irritability while you were quitting?

Can you believe it?  Granted, work is insane right now, and one of my MANY bosses is the world's biggest moron.  She had me running around in circles so bad this morning that I actually screamed into the phone.  i was like, "What was THAT??"  She quieted right down, though, clearly hoping that I would do the same.

I'm kind of  embarrassed about it now, but it feel pretty good at the time.  Work is nuts, like I said; my new personal trainer is driving me to the point where I will probably bash his head in this afternoon with the first heavy thing I find at that God-forsaken gym, and I have this stupid cold that is making me well, maybe just a teeny bit testy.

Some way to celebrate the end of Heck Week, huh??  I'll be lucky if I don't end up in jail before the end of this day.  But oddly, no real urge to smoke; just to go out a hurt a lot of people.
