Nausea

Actually, the only thing Ginger was ever good for was making coconut pies.  It was the Professor who could really help with nausea.

Hi Sparky,

Nausea can occur within the first two weeks of quitting. Drink lots of water and eat green leafy vegetables.

If symptoms persist or you are concerned at all please see your doctor.

Ginger? - this is supposed to help with nausea.  You could try ginger and lemon tea maybe? I know that ginger helps with morning sickness but I rather suspect that this is not your particular issue!!! ...  I am presuming that the nausea is directly linked to your quitting smoking (you have not been over indulging in the cookie jar have you?)

Isn't it weird how so many of us experience such a variety of 'other' symptoms whenever we quit smoking - for me, my throat is really tight and swallowing is a bit of an issue - hopefully this will pass.
