When we embark on our journey of smoking cessation we have the support of freinds and family. Sometimes they may even stop smoking with us and at the least they support us in our endeavor. Very early on the support seems to wain , people close start back smoking and they really don't want to talk about it anymore. This leaves us feeling alienated and alone. As time goes on there are issues that need to be dealt with. There's always the one that blows smoke in your face ( whether intentional or not ) so staying away from certain situations is a must in the short term. Only other like minded individuals can understand what we have to go through to be successful. People that are going and have gone through the same things we are. I just wanted to tell you that if you're at the point of feeling alienated all is not lost. There are people here who have gone through and are going through the same things you are. Stick around , read and post here. You keep me smoke free and I can only stay that way by giving back. You're the most important person here. Excellent for you. breather
