Diazepam vs. Clonazepam?

19 years ago 0 14 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Jen, I have been on both. they are both very effective. My doctor also switched me. I also have been on lorazepam and ativan. but the clonazepam worked the best for me because when I was having a full blown attack the medication seemed to start working very quickly and you don't have to take it everyday only when is necessary. It also helps me with sad especially in difficult situations. without making me groggy or sleepy. don't worry you will see the results that you want. Laurie

My psychiatrist just changed my meds from diazepam (5 mg) to Clonazepam (.25 mg) ... does anyone know the difference? Anyone tried both? Know which one is more effective? Do youguys freak out when trying out a new med?!
