Hey There! i take Lexapro and Xanax daily. While it has helped me a GREAT DEAL I still have anxiety (at a much less level) and occasional panic attacks (but not the same degree or as much) as before medication. What we are wanting is total and complete healing and I don't honestly think just medication can do that. I think meds help us to cope and reduce our symptoms. As for the flushing, it could be your anxiety or even a side effect of your medication. I know that Lexapro gives me hot flashes. But that is listed as a side effect so when it happens, I have accepted it.

ive been taking meds again for a few weeks and have been able to do so much more than i have for a long time but i had a set back today, i had an attack while trying to pick my son up from school.. does anyone else still have issues with the day to day anxiety even when on meds? i guess i hoped it would make it all go away, and it is getting better but does this happen to anyone else? also i have a new symptom that is bothering me,, my skin seeems to be really red and flushed allthe time, it makes me worry about my heart. i know that sounds dumb but im kinda obsesssing about it, im a red head so my skin is kinda pink anyway so could i just be paranoid?
