What makes you smile?

Squeeky, in the early days of my quit here.

Even though it's nearly six years ago now and he is long gone, whenever I think of him and his observations in his "Hi Folks" thread at that time, I cannot help but smile.

I hope he is well and smokefree, and I hope he knows just how much he helped me, and others here, at a very difficult time!

Cheers Squeeky!

Well I smile now thinking about them.  My daughter and son!  They deserve a non smoking cancer free mommy to run around with.  Wow....that brought a good feeling into day 1 and a half of no smoking...

Ashley:
What an interesting topic.  I will keep a log for the next few days and see.  A few things pop up right away but I want to see what makes me smile on a daily basis.
Thanks for the thought provoking post.

You know what makes me smile is ------- Being smoke-free! I am so happy where I am at right now! I haven't been around here in quite some time, but I just wanted to stop by and let everyone know that I am still smoke-free. I may not be too active in the forums; however, do know that I read through the forums when I get the chance and I am inspired by all of you!

Thanks for sharing your success stories and challenges...

Members,

I know everyone has an idea of what they value and what makes us happy but sometimes with influences of others and society we get confused on what authentically makes us smile.  In our lives some of us strive towards material gains and distractions that we think make us happy when in fact it is the little things that truly nourish us.

Ever wonder what really makes you happy?  Well, here is a fun challenge.  Today pay attention to when you smile.  Write down 10 things/times that made you smile.   Be aware and be honest.  Make a journal of this for yourself or report back here and share!

Can any of the things/times that made you smile be used as a reward?  Some of the best rewards are free!
