Well, sia, you're free to do as you see fit and ultimately your own perceptions will win out. However, many of us are here because we've tried to develop our own plan and quit on our own before, and we failed. Past failure is a signal that help is needed and that something different needs to be tried. Will power alone is usually not enough to quit smoking for good, because smoking does not indicate of failure of the will. Most smokers would will a permanent quit if they could. That said, fruit is loaded with sugar and sugar is sugar. It might be a good idea to mix the fruits with vegetables, which contain less sugar and just as much, if not more, fiber and water. Now that I've said my piece, I'll move on. I wish you luck.

Hello Sia,

Your own free will can be a good strong motivator! Also replacing fruits with smoking is a great substitution, a much healthier one.

Feel free to come here for the support you need from others who can relate to your experience.

yes, i know about the program. but i have one of my own. you may call me crazy, but i'm counting very much on my will. i mean, what i do is this: when i look at the money ment for cigarettes, i just go uot and buy fruits. just fruits. i am eating more than 2 kgs of fruits a day. when i feel like smoking i just take an orange or something. but i feel alone. that i cannot repair with my fruits. cigarettes created for me some kind of friend. and that's why i'm here. i will read over the forum and the parts of this site and comment where i feel like. good luck to us all!!! just joking.

Hi Sia,

You seem very motivated. The program we are talking about is just all the information that you can find on this site, that will help you quit. So read through it if you want to understand what smoking and quitting is all about.

Remember, to come back often and let us know how you are doing.

thanks to you all. now i feel like i must never try to smoke :). i don't know about any program and i'm not here to try any of it, my stop smoking technique is to just stop. like i did. i feel very bad into all my inside, but i'm staying strong. until now. this is my second attempt. the first one took me almost one year without smoking, until something happened. as then, now i've just stopped. thank you all again for this warm welcome.
