Really, one does not help if the panic attack has already started. I guess I have a tolerance for them. It always takes 2 to make the panic go totally away.
.25 four times a day and I ALWAYS disolve them under my tongue. Even my regular dose They work much faster.
One will help me to settle down, but 2 will totally knock the panic down to nothing.
My doctor even suggested the two for when there are panic attacks that are bad.
I take one if I feel just a bit nervous but if the panic attack is in fully swing I take TWO full tablets and melt them under my tounge until disolved.
That is what my doctor told me and it works faster and the two Xanax work great!!!
Normally, I take 4 total a day but you can take two at a time if your panic is bad.
