Deb, the good news is that you are able to sleep!  Many people experience bouts of insomnia when they quit.  I know that I sleep better than ever these days!  Since it is now 12:07 am et, let me be the first to congratulate you on surviving Hell Week!  You're doing awesome!

Hang On!
I felt the same way for the first week. My energy returned after day 7. It was a gradual improvement, and now, I have more energy that the one I use to have. So hang on. As Karren said, we all went trough Hell Week, and we did it.
So you can do it because we could do it.  You are kicking ash. And your body is healing.

I am still smoke free today for day 6. I am soooo sleepy that I can hardly keep my eyes open. I hate this being so tired. I am so tempted to smoke just to stay awake. Sooooo tired.

Deb, hang on in there. You are doing just great and you're not experiencing anything different to anyone else. Just think, would you really want to do those last five days again? I know I couldnt, and the good news is it does get so much easier as the days go on. Fight that temptation with everything you have, the rewards are so worth it believe me.

I was just sitting here and thinking about when I first started smoking. I started smoking corn silks out of a corn cob pipe when I was just little about 9yr. old.  My mom would let me. She thought it was funny to see a little girl smoking on a pipe I guess and I was forever the clown. My parents used to roll their own cigs and I would sneak and roll me one when they were fighting. I would grab a smoke and a pint of my dad's homemade wine and go out to the woods to get away from them. I bought my first pack when cigs were 35 cents a pack. You could smoke anywhere then. My how times have changed.

My Quit Date: 3/27/2009
Smoke-Free Days: 5
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 100
Amount Saved: $20.00
