okok I have to post! I knew during this process of quitting I was prepared to gain some weight, so I went to the Salvation Army (second hand store) and bought a pair of "Seven" jeans two sizes too big in mint condition for only $4 dollars. These jeans usually cost around $200 here in canada. I'm not going to feel bad if I fill them in!

OK Marivi - you are officially killing me over here!!!!  5'7" and 135.  I think that may even be below normal weight range for your height!!!  You have nothing to worry about.  I'm sure you're gorgeous!  Just be careful to maintain.

Also, I love you all dearly but there is no way I'm going to post all that info.  I have a cute little journal that I'm using.  You know, the old fashioned things that are rapidly going by the wayside because of technology.  I'm into sharing and all , but that is just too much information for all of you!!!!!  A girl's gotta have her secrets!

But I will keep you posted on my progress!  Been doing very well for the past few days.  Tonight I kind of blew it with (a whole lot of) pizza but overall am doing well.  I'm not really interested in losing quickly, I just want it lost permanently.  Taking my time and not making myself miserable or stressed with it (so don't worry pupikat!!!).

Thanks Marivi - let's keep each other on the straight and narrow!
Angie

Angie,

Sounds good to me! I kind of have been "Mentally Journaling" but I hope an online journal helps you. Drink the water and make good choices and you will lose. Ahh, McDonald's. My Achilles Heel as well.

Last night when I couldn't sleep I went online and determined what my daily caloric intake should be for weight loss and found a kilojoule/calorie converter.  A friend and I are challenging each other to lose 13 - 15 pounds (we happen to be the same height and weight) to get back down to body beautiful...well maybe not body beautiful but definitely body better.  So it begins.  We are giving ourselves until the end of March.  But since we aren't officially starting until tomorrow, I decided to go ahead with the end of summer celebratory strawberry sundae from McDonald's.  The kids talked me into it.

So tomorrow I'm really starting my journal with 1) what exercising I've done, 2) what I'm eating, 3) amount of water I'm drinking and 4) #of cigarettes I haven't smoked and what I'm doing to avoid craves!!!

I'm posting this here to hold myself accountable and to see if anyone wants to join in!!!

I'm calling it my "Health Journal".  Creative, I know.
Angie
