Thanks everyone,
You have all helped me so much. Just reading the posts I can see this will be tough, but I'm ready for the  fight. Bring it on nicodemon, give your best shot cos you ain't getting me back. N.O.P.E. I'm getting stronger each day and feel I can really do this cause I have all my friends at the S.S.C. behind me.

Lola, the nicodemon looked at your quit meter today and saw that you are at Day 13.  Tomorrow you will have survived Heck Week with 14 days smoke free.  It is one of his last attempts to try to draw you back to the dark side.  You told him "No Way Jose"!  Great job!  He'll throw crazy cravings at you every once in a while.  He still throws them at me about once a month, usually when I am somewhere where I used to smoke.  But I just look him in the face and say "N.O.P.E"!!!  Congratulations on your success!

Lola,

It is baffling and frightening when those craves come from nowhere, but it sounds like you coped beautifully.  What a success to be proud of.  Everytime you do this it gets that much easier.  Way to go!!

Hi lola Sounds like you have the right attitude to succeed. I decided early on in my quit that I'd welcome the cravings and think of them as my body healing. Whatever I had to go through to rid myself of this addiction once and for all I'd do it. My reasons for quitting are just as valid today as they were in the beginning. Never lose sight of those reasons. It does get better. Don't leave until the miracle happens !! breather 73 Addict still 0

Hello Everyone,

I just got through a really bad craving and it came from nowhere. I was prepared for my triggers, stress, other people smoking, physical pain, emotional pain, but I didn't have any of these and still I was craving. I've been doing ok, not too many bad cravings. I just have to put it down to the nicodemon and say its ok to have cravings they will pass. Soon I'll be free of them. I won't give into them, but they are quite baffling when they come from nowhere. The main thing is I really want to stop smoking. And remember not to let cravings weaken my resolve. I got through my first bad craving, now that's something to celebrate. I have to remember to be positive too.
N.O.P.E.
