Stress and trying to cope

15 years ago 0 802 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Kelly.  I'm glad to hear the ultrasounds came back normal.  See what happens on Monday - I'm sure they'll get to the root of the problem.  As a mom, I know how you feel - but try to relax and enjoy the weekend.  Take care.

Thanks so much everybody.  The doctor called yesterday and said that the ultrasounds all came back normal, so that was good, no genetic defects or blockages.  However, we are still at the point of trying to figure out whats causing it.  I feel better knowing that it isn't an anatomical defect at this point.  I just feel so bad for him, he is starving all the time but everything goes through him immediately, he digests nothing.  We go back to the doctor on Monday...we will see what happens then.  Thanks for all of your support, you are all wonderful friends.

Kelly - just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  You are a strong woman and good mother.  It sounds like you're doing a great job coping but remember that there are people here to listen should you need an ear.  Hang in there!

Kelly, you are one tough cookie and you will get though this.  When one of our children is sick as mothers we do get stress and anxious.  We want to fix everything and there are times we can't and we have to turn to our Higher Power and friends and the medical profession.  Kids are pretty tough.  I will put you and your son in my prayers.

Keep the Quit

Thanks everyone.  I knew that I would come to the right place.  And it is best to have your friends pull you back to reality, I do have a tendancy to get worked up and reactive to things.  I will keep everybody posted.  Now I am trying to find a low fat diet/no fat diet for him to eat.  Hes 12!!  Well, maybe eating what he has to eat will help me shed some pounds.

Like I said, this is the best place for me right now.
