Lil,

I too am worried about you.  You are at the point in your quit in which I lost my rocker for the FIRST time.  I flipped out completely and could have almost killed everybody that I saw smoking because I was actually jealous of them.  Please know that no matter what has happened, good, bad or otherwise we would love to here from you.

Take care my dear.

Kelly

Lil, just checking to see how things are going.  Haven't heard from you in a few days, so I'm assuming that no news is good news!  I thought of you at dinner last night.  I sat next to two folks from Belfast.  They are executives with the Irish Football Association.  We chatted a bit about travelling, Ireland, and why you only order steak tartare if you know what it is and appreciate eating raw steak ground into hamburger!  LOL!  Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I'm hoping that things are still smoke free and that you are doing well!  I can still hop the North Sea and come help you if needed.  But only until Saturday!  Let me know!

Lil, sorry I wasn't there when you needed some support, but you got a real buddy in Breather and I know he stepped up the mark for you.
Hon, all I can say is probably at your age I would be just the same- and quite honestly at your age I didnt want to stop, its only as I have hit the dreaded 50's (a critical time for women I believe) that the repercussions of a lifetime smoking began to hit home and hit home fast. Only then..................did I wish I had done it earlier or better still- never done it at all.
Lil, if this only makes you smile then listen to this- since I packed in I realise that EVERYONE smokes but me and Paul!! in cars outside shops in the street you name it,tv movies- smokers are everywhere- when we smoked- NO ONE SEEMED TO SMOKE WE WERE THE LAST ONES (or so it seemed)!!
You've done 40 days which is amazing- I would be the last one to patronise you, I really do think this is a blip and you needed to vent and thats what this site is for. I just know for me personally- I could not do those surreal first couple of weeks again, when my every waking hour was consumed with bizarreness- I could not and would not do that again, I know myself too well. If I throw the towel in then its for good sadly, and that is why I must take it day by day and hope that nothing ever makes the decision for me.
let us know how you're doing wont you?
