Smoking Dreams!

I agree with Belle, I do think the dreams re-enforce how bad you do want this when you wake up and realize that you didn't lose your precious quit.

WOOHOOO Fr8train!!  You made it through the toughest week of your quit.  Now you can smile (hey, why aren't you smiling in your photo?) Seriously though, congrats.  Doesn't it feel great?  I got the worst headach of my life while around family since every adult over the age of 18 smokes EXCEPT me of course.  The stinch brought me to my knees with a headache and an apology to my two boys.  I cant apologize enough to those two wonderful boys.  That crud stinks!

hi FR8

Glad to see you are still moving down the rails on your Fr8train.

Isn't that a shocker the first time you realize how you smelled?
It made me wonder how anybody could stand to talk to me. No wonder I only
have one friend. ;)

Congrats on your first week!

fr8train

I quit cold turkey as well and I had smoking dreams almost every night for about 3-4 weeks.  They have recently subsided.  As annoying as they were (I wondered every day when they would stop), I do think they helped.  The dreams weren't good, but the relief of waking up and realizing I hadn't messed up my quit reinforced how much I wanted this.

Great job getting through hell week!!

Hello all. Well here it is my last day of HELL WEEK! Yeah!

bj: I already have had someone pass by me who smelled of smoke. And you're right I thought to myself "How could I ever have smelled like that?"

Well, no smoking dream last night and I am so looking forward to tomorrow, the first day of HECK WEEK! Yeah!
