Hi Guys: I know all of us are looking for answers to our strange & scary symptoms. This website (along with others) is extremely helpful & sharing with each other is really encouraging. I wanted to thank you all for being so honest & helping me by just knowing THERE ARE OTHERS with the same symptoms. I haven't been dealing with anxiety/panic that long, but it sure is tough! People don't realize it or can't understand it without going through it. I know you probably have all looked for answers online, with your doctor, in books, etc, but I found 1 particular book extremely helpful. It is an older book by Dr. Thomas Leaman called "Healing the Anxiety Diseases". Believe me, I've read ALL books, websites, etc, but this was most helpful in terms of explaining symptoms. I think that's the scary part we all deal with, but most books tend to cover how to change your thinking. It goes through all the body systems and how they can be affected by anxiety. It evens list some of the "real" diseases that have similar symptoms so you can know you've ruled them out. Hope this helps all of you. I got it from the library, but I think Amazon carries it - then you don't even have to leave the house ;)
