((((Woody)))) You took a giant step in not freaking out, thats great! Maybe next time instead of focusing on the symptoms, focus on breathing, relaxing and not fighting. This exercise helps me when I start feeling anxious Exercise: 4-7-8 http://www.drweil.com/u/Article/M116/ I am beginning to see the benefits of not fighting the panic but letting it come, I talk to it and say things like come on make it worse, lets really have a huge attack this time, and paradoxily it seems to reverse the attack or at the very least lessen it. Its really really hard to do, relax and let the symptoms come on, but once you get to the other side of the fear there is nothing there to fear. Hope today is better for you
