Your doing good, it took longer for me ... and one day up one day not so great... Everyone was saying do you feel a lot better.... UHHH Well the wheeze I had when I was going to sleep went away after about 3 days of being nicotine free. Reallly cold water, ice chips, frozen juice bars or popsicles helped me a lot. Distraction, a computer game, reading a magazine article. Sorting a drawer or starting some chore.. Just take it a little at a time... just say for today I will not smoke. N O P E is my motto. keep your eye on your quit meter and the cigarettes NOT smoked... woo hoo.. Hi Smurf, You are from that "smurf era"!! Well, smurfs do not smoke! You are doing great. Give yourself some time. Right now, if you do not feel good on certain days; TAKE A NAP! Veg out on the sofa and watch movies. Life will be here tomorrow. Learn to pamper yourself a little while you are overcoming this horrible addiction. Reward yourself with small gifts and treats for getting through another day without puffing. You are on a journey to freedom. And you will get there one day at a time. Do not smoke and be proud of yourself. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 326 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,824 Amount Saved: $1,630.00 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 11 Mins: 28 Seconds: 25

Hey Teresa! You are really doing great in your quit! If you can keep that great positive attitude, you are going to make it!! I had some of the same thoughts early in my quit and I had to keep telling myself that I AM stronger than that nico-demon! It really is on minute, one hour, one day at a time!!! As the days have gone by, I HAVE noticed that I though about cigarettes and smoking and craving less and less each day!!! Soooo, keep the faith... Keep the positive mental attitude and yes, keep thinking N.O.P.E !!! It will get better, I promise!!!
