Hi One more try, I know that you will be able to conquer this in your time. There is no magic pill...only NOPE..and who knows what brings each of us to that place. It took me two years and I still do not feel totally out of the weeds yet. But, as each day goes by, it gets easier to say..NO, I do not want that to be part of my life anymore. It will happen for you if you want it. See you when you are ready. You can do this! new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 326 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,824 Amount Saved: $1,630.00 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 9 Mins: 53 Seconds: 12

Hi Karen! I do hope you are not gone long! Like everyone has said, we'll be here with open arms for you when you are ready to come back!!! The key here is that we really do want you to come back!!! No hurry... just return. I too have been in your situation. My first quit attempt was in 1982 and I made it for almost a year. Then something triggered me and i caved!!! I felt bad and was determined that I would quit again soon!!! Well, I have had more quit attempts since then, MANY MORE... but I eventually had enough and I'm sticking with it this time!!! I just hope that you don't wait till you're as old as me when you finally decide that you have finally had enough!!! SO, think about it for a while and I hope you come back soon!! I have been where you are at more than I care to remember. But what I do remember is that every single time I was ready and came here there was nothing but open arms and a huge welcome. Do what you need to do and we will be here anytime. I also came here and read and to check up on my friends :) You take care of yourself, okay? You have done real well Karen, honestly! Remember, take it one hour/day at a time, when you want to light up, say to yourself, I'll pass untill the next trigger comes around, then wait again. Imagine yourself wearing a set of horse blinders, as in, smokes do not exist in my world. Wishing upon a star!
