N2 and another reason to be happy to be a non smoker, we know how bad cigarette smoke is for our birds, don't we? I always enjoy looking at your bird pix, mine is in there chirpping at me to give her some attention at the moment! She hasn't had her toast yet this morning; when I had it to her, she grabs it in her little foot and gives me this very abrupt "Thank you!" before she chows down. Ah, the reasons we are happy to call ourselves non smokers!! It really is amazing that the majority of the time, I don't even think about smoking anymore, and I AM quite capable of doing my daily life without smoking. I have been struggling at the 70 day mark, but if I think about it realistically, when I did smoke, I thought about smoking constantly, planning, plotting, and puffing away. And now I only think of it off and on maybe 2 or 3 times during a day. So this truly is doable. Thanks! I looked at my quit meter on my puter yesterday and it said I'd quit for 100,000 minutes - and I sure wasn't thinking of smoking all those minutes! I'm so grateful for this site, it makes so much sense! Thanks Stickin! Make no mistake, we are all quite capable of getting up in the morning, brushing our teeth, getting in the car to go to work, to run errands, or having fun, dinner and then turning in. We can do all of thisw ithout a smoke. Take it one day at a time and you will reach your 50 day, 100 day and six months milestones.
