Real women have CURVES, and I for one LIKE looking closer to Mae West than Twiggy! There's so much more to our smoke free lives than what we did or didn't eat along the way. I think you have the perfect attitude, and I'm going to adopt it instantly. "They" say you would have to gain more than 100 # to be as unhealthy as smoking, but I suspect the long term hazards of smoking are WAY higher than even that. I give you a huge high 5 for all you have done. I'm stunned at how fast those not smoked #s add up, and look at the amount of money you have not spent on those things! That's almost as much as my last car cost! Ok, so I've gained around 30 pounds since I stopped smoking. I've been fretting about it since the scale began to creep up last year...I got out for long walks, ate a lot of cellery and carrots and yogurt, but the sweet toothe did me in I guess. Then I turned 41 last month and had a bit of a revelation. I'm not a 16 year old child anymore, I am a mature fully developed woman, if I were as skinny as I thought I was supposed to be, I would look like a sickly little old lady. The weight looks good and healthy. I think I got realistic with myself, and I feel a lot better about myself now.
