Had a neighbor walk over yesterday to say Hello. She must have just put out a cigarette on her way out the door...but, anywho......she smelled so BAD to me! IT was almost funny, I know if that had been a few weeks ago and situations had been reversed, I would have been very defensive about my right to "stink" if I wanted to! My, what a difference a few weeks make in the lives of non smokers!! I am embaressed to think I ever smelled like that and so happy to know that I never will again! My hubby laughed at me the other night, I told him, I love to smell my closet now! But, hey!! it's true! Happy Monday, all! Good post, BlueCloud! Dreadful the crap we used to inflict on our friends and relatives by smoking in their faces and in their homes... Ex-Roller puts her finger on that pulse too... Good morning everone, there is just no comparing being a smoker verses a Non Smoker, i am very thankful that i rearley have to be around the smell at all , just now and then in a parking lot or leaving a movie theatre. I wish i would have never smoked. Hey we are really all HOT @&*$ to have kicked the nasty habit :) Tresa My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 2040 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 40,800 Amount Saved: $7,140.00 Life Gained: Days: 291 Hrs: 15 Mins: 11 Seconds: 6

Great post Blue. We do have choices and quiting is one of them. I like being able to smell the candles I burn just one of the benefits of quiting. Great post Blue - I shudder when I think about the sticking air I used to afflict on my children before I stopped smikong in the house. They probably had about 15 years of ;living with that - I feel so ashamed of that fact, but so glad they now have a non smoking mum (house has been non smoking for several years now)... Also it's a great thing for improving our attitudes - having a thankful heart really can change how you relate to people around you and also your circumstances....
