Great post Blue, and oh so true! When you really think about it, everything we do is a choice, even a reaction to a craving. So we can plan to choose wisely. I choose to be the victor, not the victim! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 370 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,250 Amount Saved: $3,903.50 Life Gained: Days: 48 Hrs: 13 Mins: 56 Seconds: 49

Hey all you good smelling People, After all the snow we've had the Sunshine looks great this morning. I can think of alot of reasons to be happy today but the first one is that I don't smoke. The second one is that I have all you to thank for that and the third one is its my last day of work this week. Are we ever really grateful enough for what we have. I know I take a lot for granted. What if is was all taken away one thing at a time. What would you give up first. Certainly not air. It requires that to live yet that is exactaly the chance we are taking ever time we smoke another cigarette. The damage could already be done and pop back up years later. Why go through the suffering of quitting then? Because you are not the only one smoking effects. Would your children be the second thing you would give up. Certainly not, yet I smoked around mine not aware of second hand smoke or that they would later become smokers because they thought Mom was cool. Sometimes we don't have a choice in life. Smoking or not is a choice. One I am glad I made. If I could go back I would never have started but I can't do that. So I'll just take pride in the fact that I have another Sunday to be smoke free.
