Thank you so much! It worked really well in high school back in the 70s in Southern California, but is so not working now! It is SO time to make it go away... I am so psyched about traveling this road with you all!! peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/25/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 46 Seconds: 23

Don't be afraid - be excited. Quitting actually isn't hard for everyone. And - every quit is different. This quit is certainly different than any of your last ones as this time you've got great support, and you're going to make it. Quitting doesn't physically hurt. Quitting doesn't require a confrontation. Quitting won't endanger your life. Quitting won't threaten your physical security. Quitting won't get you into a fight. Quitting won't harm your relationships with your loved ones. Quitting won't put you in the hospital or the doctor's office. Quitting won't require you to have blood drawn. Quitting won't keep you from paying your bills. Quitting won't make you go to the dentist or have any teeth pulled. Quitting won't show up at your house dressed like a scary clown. Quitting won't get you into a car accident. Quitting won't make your airplane crash. So, honestly, what's left to be afraid of? Hang tough, Peteg. Fear nothing for tomorrow - there'll always be someone in here to support you if you feel antsy on your Quit Day. About 12 hours from now, for instance, I'll be back on here and looking for your posts.... Stay cool and focused.. watch the triggers and throw away all your smoking paraphernalia tonight!! Deep into the garbage and the tobacco into the toilet... you'll do okay. Tie that photo of your grandchild to your wrist with a rubber band and look at it when you get a craving... drink ice water ... Hey, it's your life but that baby wants and deserves a bit of it too, right?? Just wondering/hoping that someone else might be joining me on February 25 for my quit date. I woke up in a cold sweat this morning, thinking that this was the day. I decided to stay smoke free after my morning shower until all of my obligations were met for the day. It was pretty cool, knowing that I didn't smell!! Will wake up in a total cold sweat tomorrow, knowing that this is really it -- but I'm ready. Bring it on! peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/25/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 40 Seconds: 34
