Jacqui, You sure do remind me of how I felt back then. I went through some days where I didn;t want anyone to tell me I was doing good because that put pressure on me to keep doing good. I am around 4 months in front of you and I still have thoughts sometime. I haven't cryed in a while though and I now know I am not a smoker. Hang tough. It will get better and you will be glad you did. You've already gained 8 days on your life. Reward yourself. Jacqui, I know the the three month let down very well. I quit smoking January 2007 and I went 116 days. The "let down" pulled me under and I started smoking all over again. I can tell you that I felt horrible for starting again. All my hard work had gone down the drain. At least that's how I felt at the time. I quit again this January, and I am going to be very well aware of the 3 month mark. I WILL NOT let it get me this time round because I don't want to have to go through the first 3 months any more. ^^^^ITS EASIER TO KEEP MOVING FORWARD, AND HARDER TO KEEP GOING BACKWARDS.**** Take the easy route. Don't give in and post, post, post!!!! The doors are open 24/7!!!! Hang in there, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/27/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 600 Amount Saved: $204.00 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 19 Mins: 20 Seconds: 30

Hi Jacqui I am not even close to the 100 day mark, so i can't help you there, but look at ALL those cigarettes you haven't lit!! 2240!!! Keep that in mind, that is huge!! Don't start again now!! You deserve to keep going and you can - you have already proven that! So, keep up the great work and don't stop now. You are an inspiration to many people already! Jacqui, You've recieved some great advice from the members here. It's very common to go through these feelings around the 100 day mark. Challenge them, they will go away. In the mean time, treat yourself to some extra rewards and continue to reinforce your quit. Remember how hard it was at the beginning and you made it through then, you can do it now too. You have hit the 3 month down, don't let this spoil you quit, don't dwell on it get out there and move, use your coping mechanism, it's your mind attempting to get you back there, cause deep down, you know, you don't want to, think of the smell, the coughing, the wheezing etc. It will get better and soon, I promise , don't smoke today ......one day at a time Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 617 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,489 Amount Saved: $4,010.50 Life Gained: Days: 82 Hrs: 23 Mins: 31 Seconds: 3
