Sue and I made it back from a long drive to Florida. We stopped at places where we used to smoke and then to places where smoking wasn't allowed and then to a place where we ate smoked bbq. Then on Valentines day I took her to the Russell Stover distribution center in Gainsville FL and bought a bunch of chocolate. Sue was so happy. I got to stop at a place in South Carolina I wanted to photograph for years and got some awesome photos at early morning sunrise overlooking Lake Mirian. Oh gosh it was great, I never once craved a cigarette even when I got cut off in traffic. ;) Now all the excitement of our lil vacation to the sunshine state is over and I am Sooooo tired. I feel like I could sleep for a week. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 291 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,275 Amount Saved: $1,018.50 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 10 Mins: 28 Seconds: 46

Good Morning Everyone. I made it through the weekend. Yesterday was beautiful and sunny..low 50's. I was out for hours. go the herb garden ready. I got all the weeds and grass off the brick patio. I only stopped once to think about a cig break.. and said to myself ..you sill goose.. you don't smoke anymore. I really didn't get out of breath or huffing and puffing.... and some of those weeds didn't want to come out. I think this am I may have found a few muscles I haven't used in awhile.... So starts ..........week 2 My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/11/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 70 Amount Saved: $11.03 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 1 Mins: 53 Seconds: 43

Anxioux1, I don't know if the feeling to smoke ever goes away. I know there are times when I think "Damn I could use a smoke". It even happened this weekend. I do know I'm happier not smoking. So guess what? I wait until the feeling goes away. Reading the "oldies" posts shows us that we may still get the urge years from now. We're strong enough to deal with it, right? We are doing it. Before you smoke post. I am still here and smoke free. I am so excited, one of the books stores in town Finally got in the Allan Carr book, so I bought that, along with many other self help books, my daughter picked out a few, so 80.00 later (nice reward I would say), I am ready to read. Now, find the time. How is everybody today? I am snowed out and can't stand it. I am sure a lot of you out there are too. I keep getting these weird cravings out of nowhere, I am able to ignore them, but its really a bummer, I wish they would just go away. find some other willing addict to provoke.. :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 74 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,220 Amount Saved: $277.50 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 1 Mins: 24 Seconds: 7
