We have been going to some garden centers on the weekend.. and just walking thru the flowers and seeing new trees with buds. Tulips and daffodils are in the stores ... and today every where is FULL of flowers. I am planning on cooking a nice dinner and making a cake for dinner at home. I stopped when I was in town (we live about 17 miles from town) and got husbands valentine card and gift. It is supposed to be sunny the rest of the week here.. and high 40's for the weekend and NO RAIN have a GREAT day My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/11/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 30 Amount Saved: $4.73 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 8 Seconds: 35

I feel guilty now to report that we have had such a lovely last few days. Slight frost in the morning leading to warm sunny days. Really lifts the spirit. Having said that, today is quite dull and cold but I think we are clear of any threat of snow. We don't get alot of that anyway. What about cleaning windows ready for when the sun comes? Sparky, You are really kicking butt! Don't let the down times get the best of you. Go look in the mirror and tell the person you are looking at that she is so AWESOME! Thanks, guys. When the doctor put on a medication they did blood work and I had to stop my vitamin D supplement because I had to much, so I am not lacking there. I am lacking motivation :p This will pass, I really have nothing to complain about except to complain. Penguin you are right a bathroom redo sounds great. Maybe I should start removing wallpaper, that is always fun ;) And Judy (Grandma) yes I need to look for garden stuff. If the ice would melt I could look and see if anything looks alive. Tomorrow will be better. More snow in the forecast, but not much. Hey, anxioux1 I am retired, you think Goofy has room for two more? How about it Goofy? Again thanks everyone. Hey Sparky so true. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) affects me. I have one of those lights you can buy that you look at daily to help your mood. I got mine at Costco (goLITE by Blue Wave). You may want to look into that if your mood worsens. But i think the general population who lives in this climate suffers from a general "Jan/Feb BLAHS". Penguin was right, i think tackling some sort of project would be the answer. But sometimes i feel too Blah to do a project so than i just get feeling more BLAH. BLAH BLAH BLAH - Where is the sun? I have the same problem right now..the SAD, I take vitamin D and treated myself to a tanning package that my daughter and I share. I just looked at the weather, have another 3-8 inches of snow coming..I will be out shoveling like Bear...AHHH! Our snow banks at the end of the driveway are so high, that you can't see beyond them, I have almost been hit twice!! I would paste some pictures in here if I could figure it out. I always tell myself, I will never see another spring or summer without going through winter first, it is part of the dang process. Unless you live in the southern part of the US, where I guess you get to complain when it drops to 60 degrees. I shouldn't talk, I am the dumb bell that stays in Wisconsin. Its safe for my kids, but once there gone..I am heading to Florida with Goofy!! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 69 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,070 Amount Saved: $258.75 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 16 Mins: 12 Seconds: 54
