What is Gabitril??

I am currently on Paxil CR 25mg and it has helped stay more calm and without so many side effects as the others I have taken, ie,Zoloft and Wellbutrin XL. The Zoloft made me very zombie sleepy like and I gained alot of weight and the Wellbutrin helped me lose weight and have energy but I was a fruitcake and crying all the time! I am worried about the withdrawl effects eventually when I get off of the Paxil! Does anyone know about that or has experienced it?

Thank you both for getting back to me on your experiences with Gabitril. i have not taken anything for mine because i'm terrified to take pills, but at the point it has reached, i think i need to take something- my dr. prescribed zoloft, but i never took it, thinking i could overcome this on my own. maybe it is time- keep in touch- jackie

Is it like Xanex? I've been taking Xanex, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I don't know what to do anymore. Someone help!

I have not done a lot of research because, well...we all know what happens when a panic disorder person does research. Anyway, my doctor gave me a RX for gabitril telling me to take one a day with my Lexapro. She says it is to help keep the anxiety away and is just a extra help along with my regular medication. I have never had any side effects from it. It just kinda keeps me chilled out.
