That's shocking and very disappointing, really. Hi Lilliput I guess we are from the same neck of the woods, although my country shows France, I am from the Ould Sod. I must say it was brave of you to quit so early into the New Year. I myself left it a little longer for the alcohol fumes to get back to a more normal level, before going into the quit. You seem to be doing really well, but keep visiting here as there are still a couple of milestones coming up that need to be dealt with, and the support you get here does really help. I got to ten months two years ago, by regularly posting here, and benefitting from the help that is readily available. It was only when I stopped posting - don't need this no more - that I lapsed and fell completely from the wagon. So keep up the good work and keep posting. Lillyput, Congrats on your great decision to quit!!!! I totally agree with you about this site. FINEST support group I've ever come across! Sure has saved my quit many, many times! Just reading here puts things nicely into perspective. Take care, Faith :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 47 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,175 Amount Saved: $564.00 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 10 Mins: 23 Seconds: 47

Welcome Lillyput and congratulations on your decision. Don't worry about your confusion on getting around the website. Just keep clicking around and if you have questions ask away and somebody will help you on how to use the site. This was my first experience on any website/chat room and I spent the first week completely confused. I am a private tutor/teacher but managed to avoid the internet until very recently. It is quite amazing and a little difficult until you get the hang of it. You have stayed smoke free for 37 days. That is great. Glad you introduced yourself. Keep up the good fight. Hi Sue, The first day I found the site I was bad I just needed help so without looking into the site properly I clicked in all over the place. You see I'm ok at the computer for my job books & wages etc.. but I am not so good when it's the web or chat rooms like this but I am learning. welcome Lili!! I saw your first post in the mod's corner and was really confused because it said you were Brenna, one of the mods here, it actually still does - so I thought you were her alternate persona or something. Anyway, welcome aboard :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 281 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,810 Amount Saved: $491.75 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 9 Mins: 49 Seconds: 54

Hi Lillyput, Welcome and what a great job you are doing. I smoked over 40 years too and those first days are trying. This site is what got me through too. Keep in touch when you can and keep up the good work. I also was sick alot before I quit smoking. I have been pleasantly suprised by getting this far into the winter season without having to see the doctor.
