I'm not really sure - i never went to the meetings I just did it from a book but I imagine it's probably a once a week thing...
Maybe just phone your nearest one and ask them for details?

I have tried Curves when i was 30. I am 39 now. I used to love it. it was where you could go to get in a quick workout, but a good one. It also has a "routine" all figured out for you. That makes it much easier than just joining a gym and guessing what you need/should do. It's something that i would definitely think of joining again, if i didn't have the gym membership i had.

Ter you didn't offend me :eg: I think it depends on what time you go. We have different age groups here, but I will agree there are several mature ones, like me.
Also, Curves is a work-out plan. It is not like weight watchers. They do have a site for weight just like SSC and others. I enjoy it because it get me out of the house and I can work as hard or as little as I want.
There are so many things out there, do some research. Bottom line if you want to feel better exercise, it you want to lose weight watch what you put into your mouth. LOL. I find keeping journal on what I eat helps a lot.
Keep the Quit

No it's here in the UK also. Go to their main site then click on locations, then click on country - as in england, scotland, wales or Ireland then click on county - there are 2 within 30 miles of me...
Sorry , I didn't mean to offend anyone. That was my experience with Curves.

Alot of people have the wrong idea about curves and think its for just old ladies NOT!! Its only woman so its not a meat market, a place to meet men , its a work out designed for just women and you only get out of it what you put in to it , ive lost 25 pounds in the last year with eating right and curves :) Tubbies look it up on line it will tell you the locations, also a good thing when you travel you can go to any curves where you are with a pass, there are Many good things about hte Curves , thats just me :) Tresa

Hi! I am going to be honest, only because I paid my 29.00 a month for a year and never went. I found the women were older, I am 44, didn't work for me. That's just me!
