For those that are quitting week-end can be hard. Things to do is go to a movie, go to the mall, take naps, find a project to work on, come here and read, go for a walk if possible. Hang out in places where there is no smoking allowed. Carry your list of why you want to quit with you. On one of my quits I put a rubber band on my wrist and when I thought about smoking I would snap it, ouch :eg: Whatever you do don't put yourself in a place where cigarettes are available and you will be fine. The weekend will be difficult...I usually take my Mom shopping and do any cleaning she needs done...then I head home and relax...usually with a coffee and smokes. I will pick out a new knitting project when I am in the stores....that will help! The weekends are often a time for many to kick off their shoes and rest after a long work week. For others, the weekend can present a world of challenges and triggers that can make it difficult to stick to your goal. What challenges will you face this weekend? How are you preparing to meet those challenges? Josie, Health Educator
