Sarah sorry to hear that you have to have surgery. So glad that it was caught though! You are right we need to have things checked out and not just put it off as a part of this or that. I hope and pray that your experience in the hospital is easy on you. I can relate to the fear there. I wish you a smooth and easy recovery. My prayers are with you.

Hi Sarah, Sorry to hear about your need for upcoming surgery. I wanted to thank you for bringing up a very important point - about seeing your doctor and how important it is to be better safe than sorry. As moderators we stress this a lot. We wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to hearing from you again when you are feeling up to it. Casey ________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hiya, I just thought i'd let you know that i wont be posting in here much for a while. Like most of you, i've always had paranoia concerning my health and thoughts making me believe that there is something wrong with me... But i've always managed to fight off those feelings.. However, i went for a scan a week ago after having bad pains in my lower body. I thought it was in my head, but sadly it wasnt and they found something that isnt suppose to be there. I will be undergoing surgery within the next week and i'm looking at a month or 2 recovery. I dont want to give out too many details, just that surgery will fix it. My anxiety is reasonably under control, however i have a fear of hospitals and operations... so no doubt i'll go thru a rough patch this week and beyond. I just want to point something out here... i nearly left this too late, and now i'm going for urgent medical help and operations. I think it is better to be safe than sorry.. and so if you feel there is something wrong with your health, i urge you to see a doctor. I wish i had gone sooner. Dont leave things too late, because even if there is nothing wrong with you, like i said - it's better to be safe than sorry! Well thats about it. Wish me luck with the operation, and i hope i will be back here soon. Take care, and hang in there Sarah T. xxx
