Hi Mary, this is agreat place to be when you are becoming a non-smoker. This is a learning process. Just like you didn't learn to smoke over night you won't quit overnight either. You are on a journey that will lead you to a far better place. Read, work the program and post for help if you need to. We are all here to pull you along when you need us. I am excited for tomorrow. I can still remember the joy I felt knowing I had one smoke free day behide me. When you get one you can get another. (((hugs)))) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 150 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,000 Amount Saved: $600.00 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 0 Mins: 20 Seconds: 52

OK Mary......hang on.....the first week is called hell week for a reason. Make sure to follow the workbook, post often, and whenever you get the urge, remember how important it is not to smoke. I would use my fingers to get on line and post here whenever I wanted a smoke. I'm not even sure what I said or to whom, but apparently it's helped me stay away from smokes for over a month. This is a wonderful group of people here that will help you along. Me included. Take it a couple of minutes, then 15, then an hour, then a day at a time. You can do it. If I can, anybody can. Let's get this quit underway!
