Hi One More Try! It takes quite a lot of effort in the beginning, do trust that it gets easier. Would you write down your reasons for quitting, and stick the list on the bathroom mirror and a big one of the refer. And if you don' mind would you post that list under Forum for General Discussion or crave section with a topic like "My reasons for Quitting by One More Try! Another weekend overwith. Weekends are really tough to get through for me. I have to find things to keep my hands busy. Playing my guitar seems to help, but I'm not getting any better at it. Same with playing golf. Seems the more I play, the less I improve. Oh well, at least I'm done with cigarettes. I trust the rest of the Octobreathers made it through the weekend and are stronger than ever. Thanks everyone. And you too Sprquits. I can gladly say that my temporary slip was in fact temporary. I am still here, and still happy to call myself a MusQuiteer and a non-smoker. Be strong! One More Try I would not worry so about Friday night, I would ne more concerned about what happens next. It is so easy to go back and once you get there find that it wasn't worth the trip. Take the experience as an opportunity to make your self stronger and wiser. This is one tough addiction. Many disagree, but I am a firm believer in the symbiosis between alchohol and cigarettes. For some reason the two have a chemical compatibility that will come round and grab you. It takes alot of courage to admit to your peers that you have had a set back. But it is also a sign of genuine honesty and a willingness to stay with the process. Hang in there, we are all here to help each other when need be. nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 342 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,260 Amount Saved: $3,591.00 Life Gained: Days: 62 Hrs: 10 Mins: 55 Seconds: 11

Thank you Goofy. And just to clarify (sometimes it's hard to get across exactly what you mean in a post) I wasn't so much worried that you wouldn't be there for me, but that I'd have to re-set my quit meter. I mean, technically, I thought I'd have to adjust my quit date....and therefore this week when you are all celebrating one month smoke-free, I'd be celebrating four days.....that just seemed so sad! Anyway, thanks again for being there, everyone. I am more determined than ever to remain a non-smoker.
