Misha, I am wondering if what the articles meant are the long term stress associated with panic? I know that I have read articles abour stress can cause health problems. I don't believe I have read that a particular panic attack is dangerous though. Witness

Misha, Sorry it took so long to reply. As with most topics in mental health and psychiatry there is some controversy about this. However, there is little evidence that there is a health risk associated with any particular panic attack. Hope this helps, Josie _______________________________ The Panic Center Support Team.

I think that the dangerous part is only how you react to them.

Hi, on this site it says a lot of times 'panic attacks are not inherently dangerous'. Without going into too much detail, I've read articles that say the opposite. Is there any specific scientific research that says that panic attacks aren't dangerous?
