I am happy for you Lady; that life circumstances did not make it easy for you to go buy those cigs...but, that gas station is always just around the corner. And, you have done the work to stay smoke free now. We need to learn to let the emotional upheavel wash over us as we think about the situation and make decisions. You have a wise boyfriend..alot of people would have said, "Oh, I know, this is horrible, I understand; you haven't smoked in so long anyway."; and pulled into the station for you. Would you REALLY have gone through with it???? I don't think so. Hope things get better with the children...mine did have me on my final nerve the last 2 weeks; you know that I went and bought some gum..ARGGGGGH. A BIG congratulations for staying smoke and nicotine free! new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 147 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,528 Amount Saved: $735.00 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 6 Mins: 3 Seconds: 45

Sorry to hear you had a bad weekend Lady ((((((((((((Lady)))))))))))) You just proved to yourself, that you can get thru anything! No matter how bad it was, you are still here and still not smoking! That is very important. We, as ex smokers have to learn how to get through the really bad emotions by feeling them, and letting them go. Non smokers don't look for the crutch like we do, they deal with the emotions and move on. So be proud of yourself, even if its still scarey and fresh, you are right, nothing on this earth, no matter how awful, can be made better by smoking. Absolutely Nothing! NOPE :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 224 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,600 Amount Saved: $2,363.20 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 10 Mins: 9 Seconds: 34

I have to wonder statistically speaking....how many Non-smoker's, start smoking when life get's rough? It's the first thing I think about when I get stressed, gotta have a cig...what do non-smoker's think about first when they get stressed???? There has to be something else we can think about during life's trials and tribulations?? Lady, I'm sorry to hear that the weekend was a rough one. You are a tough cookie though and in whatever you are facing - the world needs the real you. There is so much more of ourselves to offer when we aren't hiding behind the smoke and we can see and recover so much more quickly without the nicotine. I know you know these things and I know that there is a deep well of strength and courage inside you. Be well, Sandra My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1166 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 23,320 Amount Saved: $5,247.00 Life Gained: Days: 89 Hrs: 0 Mins: 42 Seconds: 13
