Rough Ride This Morning

Gin- I hear ya! That first cig was always special, but not needed now! I just took a lap around the front yard and now I feel so much better. We must force ourselfs to learn new habits until this bad habit is but an old memory. Hang in there, we can do this! Gin, your post is bringing back memories for me. I guess the good part is "bringing back" because it is so much easier now. I hadn't thought of a smoke until I read your post and I have been up for several hours. I can say it does get better and this is just more proof for me. Thanks for posting. Good morning Gin Mix it up a little..do something differently. What's your morning schedule usually like? Can you do something else? Add an activity? Have your coffee or tea or whatever in a different spot? Go outside? Ask for inner strength and be grateful for this wonderful gift you're giving yourself? You did right by posting. I'll switch versions and im with you if you'd like My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 210 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,400 Amount Saved: $1,428.00 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 7 Mins: 26 Seconds: 20

I'm having a tough time of it right now...just got up and all I can think of is a cigarette. I have to keep reminding myself that it will pass but I so much want one now for pete sake. How do I get rid of the craving in the morning...this is my 3rd day. I hear that the 4th day is the worse...don't know if I'll pull through. But I don't want to continue this terrible habit.
