Hi Linda, welcome back and congratulations on your great quit!
I think some people do get back, with a lot of hard work, and others do with not so much hard work. It has certainly been a struggle for me. A trainer that I worked with once suggested that I stop trying to do so much cardio, and that I bump up the weight training. Doing that seemed to help. Maybe you aren't eating enough calories...they say that eating too few calories can make your body hang onto the weight, or go into "starvation" mode. You might try one of the free on-line calorie tracking programs. Several of us here are sparky people, weight watchers, or fitdays.
Good luck!
Rusty :)
