Quitting is hard no matter if you had to quit or not. I think you've done a great job Momma. I'm relitivly lucky, after smoking for almost 40 years, I never had a cough or weeze . I know my luck would run out soon though as my dear mother died suddenly of lung cancer. In fact my sister and I both quit at the same time in different states without knowing the other had done the same. We want to end the family curse of tabacco addiction! all the best

You take care of yourself and protect your quit. You do what the doctors tell you to do and come here and read and read and share and share. Congrats! Just take things one day at a time, maybe one day you will not need a fibulator anymore.

Greetings to all. Still smoke free. Recently had a defibulator placed for protective purposes and am home resting comfortably and doing well. It would be quite foolish to start smoking again which was why I just HAD to stop. I am glad that I am no longer smoking and feel better already. Each day I can feel my breathing getting better and stronger. Will check back again soon.
